9th RHESSI Workshop |

Albert Shih Space Sciences Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley, US Email: ayshih (at) ssl.berkeley.edu Group 2 Contribution: I would like to discuss the observed proportional acceleration of relativistic >0.3 MeV electrons and >30 MeV protons, and how that correlation appears to break down for lower-energy electrons. I would also like to discuss the upper limits from RHESSI on ion acceleration from small flares and during quiet times. Group 4 Contribution: I would like to discuss how albedo may be significantly affecting studies of relative electron and ion acceleration by looking at two notable disk-center gamma-ray line flares. I would also like to discuss the implications of temporal variability in gamma-ray lines for ambient abundances.
