9th RHESSI Workshop |
Genova, Italy, September 1-5 2009 |
Participants |
Gordon Hurford Space Sciences Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley, US Email: ghurford (at) ssl.berkeley.edu Group 3 Contribution: Interested in evaluating the impact of instrumental effects on imaging, spectroscopy and high time resolution light curves, and in identifying software techniques (perhaps visibility-based) for mitigating these effect. Group 1 Contribution: New visibility-based techniques are explored for evaluating the sharp cutoff on the 'lower' edge of partially-occulted sources so as to improve the fidelity of imaging of the remaining unocculted source. The potential application to aspect calibration of the STIX instrument on Solar Orbiter is also discussed.
