By Plain – Cristoforo Colombo Airport

• Volabus: There is a bus, called Volabus, which links the airport directly to the city center, stopping at the main train stations, Genova Piazza Principe and Genova Brignole. The ticket costs 6€ and can be bought directly on the bus. Informations and timetables can be found here.
• Train: The closest train station is Genova Sestri Ponente, which can be reached by the bus I24, which stops just outside the airport. From this station you can take a train to Genova Brignole.
• Taxi: It is the more expensive option, but it is the only option if you arrive before 5.15 am or later than 11.00 pm.

By Plain – Milan Malpensa Airport

• Take the Malpensa Express to the station Milano Centrale, than take a train to Genova Brignole or Genova Piazza Principe. Once there follow the indication below.

By Train

• The closest station to the Department of Mathematics is Genova Brignole, then you have to take a bus (see below).

By Bus

From the bus stop in front of the Genova Brignole station (Brignole FS) there are several bus lines taking to the Department:

• Line 18, 18/, 45, 85, 86, 87 – Get off at San Martino 2/Papigliano then follow the map below:

By car

• From the East take the A12 Livorno – Genova and exit at GE Nervi.
• From the West take the A10 Ventimiglia (Nice) – Genova and exit at GE Ovest.
• From the North take the A7 Milano – Genova and exit at GE Ovest or take the A26 Gravellona (Simplon) – Genova (junction to A10 at GE Voltri) and exit at GE Ovest.
